I graduated high school in 1980. All my friends pretty much loved Rush. I spent WAY TOO time partying in cars listening to "2112" cranked. I am intimately familiar with every album up to "Permanent Waves" and saw them on that tour. To this day, I can probably still quote lyrics from songs on command even though I can't stand them. I'm sorry, but Ayn Rand comic books set to 4/4 metal is not my idea of a great time.I am glad you like them. I like a lot of things that other people hate myself. But you have to admit, the suggestion that those three jokers are the pinnacle of western music is more than a little silly. Didn't mean to hurt your feelings.
