I can remember way back in the days of bell bottoms and platform shoes, the line of people waiting to purchase the new BOSTON debut album on the day of release literally went down the street, and must have been over a hundred fans long. I was probably #20 or so in line at the 'Good Vibrations' record store/head shop in Northern New Jersey. The anticipation and 'build up' for the BOSTON LP was VERY strong, given their cool and unique, melodic new sound, pre-release airplay, and all those Trans-Ams and Camaros with 8-track players and 'Jensen' triaxial speakers needing some fresh new rock to blast while cruising the main drag! Those were GREAT times!!!
