I think the band (and the album) was scorned for lack of eclecticism.... Although in today's social climate, musically speaking, I think the band was underrated.... For the "sameness" amongst Boston's songs was offset by what I thought was an intense musicality and uniqueness of style that hasn't been duplicated (aside from a band called Extreme with the tune "Hole Hearted").
