Al those acoustic tunes from Live were home runs for Stills. I just wish he'd done more of that!!I bought Man Alive as soon as it came out. I wasn't really excited about the material, and from what I understand it represents a collection of material that was never recorded over the years. As Stills has gotten older, he's lost that raspy honest sound that he used to have such excellent control of. He has a bit of a bellowing sound now. I've always felt that we missed out on a lot over the years when, for whatever reason, Stills stopped writing and recording music. I've always felt like he could have accomplished more, but maybe he'd had it with the critics.
