That's a different argument that deserves its own thread, but I didn't make it. It was a response to this or that band not being on the level of Woodstock bands with regards to current-day & future ticket receipts. If you can find where that was a reference to the merits of the music, show me. Otherwise it looked to me as though it was about the ability of a band to be as successful in a reformation as Cream was.If you'd like to debate which is better based on yr personal preferences, go right ahead. A lecture about music relative to what's popular, McDonald's etc., I don't need, thanks. I'm well aware of it. If you're trying to figure out what's going to be popular in the future, and you think you have a better benchmark than popularity based on sales to this date, then hit me. Otherwise, I've made the same argument you're making here countless times on this board & others as well. It's not exactly a state secret.
