I was being sarcastic when I said no one will know who they are 40 years from now. of course there will always be bands that come back but none will be on the level of the bands of the woodstock generation. If Green day or cold play sell out Madison square garden and similar size venues at one or two hundred bucks a pop (actually way more when adjusted for inflation) 30 or 40 years from now, you can shoot me (if I am not dead already).
