Not to hijack this thread, but I followed your link. Those Warner box sets are one heck of a value (even at today's exchange rates). I'm looking particularly at the Bach cantatas. Also at Vaughan Williams, Schumann chamber, Anyone know the performances?Any brilliant performances that I need to have?
I'm sure the Scarlatti set is marvelous, but I already have a three disk "highlights" version from Ross, and I'm not sure I need 31(!) more disks.
