Here are a few I can recommend.Tchaikovsky - String Sextet in D major, op. 70 "Souvenir de Florence" - the recording by the Moscow String Quartet is excellent, played with idiomatic Russian passion, and the audio is very good to my ears. The more recent, high profile recording by Sarah Chang, Hartog, Christ, Christ, Faust & Maninger may have the sort of audio you prefer, although the performance is not nearly as good.
Brahms - Clarinet Quintet, op. 115 - There are several good recordings. My preferred modern recording is by Karl Leister with the Leipzig String Quartet. Leister's recordings of the clarinet sonatas and clarinet trio are also very good.
Chausson - Concert for Violin, Piano and String Quartet in D major, op. 21 - There are several good recordings of this great sextet. I tend to prefer French musicians in this piece. Try the Harmonia Mundi recording with Pasquier, Pennetier, Daugareil, Simonot, Pasquier, and Pidoux, which is now available at mid-price.
Myaskovsky - Cello Sonata No. 2, op. 81 / Rachmaninoff - Cello Sonata, op. 19 - Arguably the two most beautiful cello sonatas ever written. I like Russians playing this music. For a modern recording, the one by the pianist and cellist from the Borodin Trio, Turovsky and Edlina, on Chandos is very good.
