I like the work of Tricky. 'Vulnerable' is a fave, but 'Maxinque' is good too, as is 'Blowback'.Jill Scott very nice R&B.
Tavius Beck interesting kind of like Prefuse 73.
Subtle worth looking into.
Esthero a little more poppy than Jill Scott, but she certainly has her moments.
If you are really adventurous I would suggest 'Something Dangerous' by Natasha Atlas. This one never gets old....IMO.
