According to Lavry, he found out "how to take advantage of using the sample rate ic while compensating for it. We did upgrade all of the first run units to the current revision."So there should not be two versions out there, just one.
The only problem, again according to Lavry, was that they failed to reflect the engineering revision in their manual description (apparently prepared by their marketing people/person).
Per Lavry, that was what the fuss was about.
