Goto diyhifi.org and look at the issues with the Lavry. There is also comment about the Benchmark.

Frankly, I'd wait if necessary to invest in a top dac, the cheapest being the UA2192 which has ad/da and clock and which sounds top flight.

These sevic4es that use commercial grade components and cheap opamps all have limitations!
