I was able to try my well broken in stock xa777es on my Maggie 20.1s with a fully modded broken in version with battery supply -- all I can say is that the diferrence was very limited, possibly some slight increased dynamics and musicality -- more different than anything else.I was expecting improved soundstage (esp depth), air, and bass and even clearer noise floor -- but couldn't here it.
Definately not worth the extra $2-3000 IMHO.
