As I to have tried several different brands of silver plated copper IC's, each of which I found forced me away from pure copper ones, as the added sense of top end extension and speed caught me off guard | yet allowed me to gauge just how slow sounding copper was, not along allowing me to heard certain nuances which were glossed over, or missing all together, said first experience with this type of wiring ( IC's ) were claimed to be some form of heavier plate silver over copper as produced by NASA during the 60s, and came in a twisted white Teflon outer shelving based design.
In this instance it was a very very balanced sound, yet as I went onto explore pure silver IC's, like AlphaCore TQ2s | Yannis Tome Audio Cable Design Gaia 222Connect | Gothic Audio Nosferatu as well as said sterling silver from Xangsane, there's simply no going back. " like ever ". And while I'm able to live with copper as it related to a power cord or SCs, that's where I've to draw a very very defined line in the sand.
Bro. I'm in a much happier | safer place or zone these days, with no need for BS!, as I do trust in my ears | senses of means as guiding me in the right direction as far as emotional impact | purity of tonality | textural beauty.
