RE: Restoration

I just took a look at the schematic. It seems to be a pretty normal integrated amp. At first glance I saw nothing out of the ordinary.

While I have no experience with this model, my experience with Marantz receivers is that in general sound quality decreases as power capability increases. I think the best sounding Marantz receivers are the 2220B and the 2230.

Like all(?) Marantz amps, this one has a shared power supply.

By the way, there's nothing "Marantzy" about restoring this amp. It's just a 1970s solid state integrated amp.
