To make your 5Hy choke work you would need to draw 60ma. total at a minimum. Your circuit draws 15ma. So you need the bleed resistor to draw 45ma. Assuming 300vdc, a 6.6K resistor will draw 45ma. It will dissipate 13.5 watts. You would need a 25 watt resistor and it will still get hot.Will your power transformer deliver 60ma.?
