Has my amp surpassed my speakers?

I just rebuilt my Dynaco ST-70 with Joe Curcio's cap and upgrade driver boards. I used auricaps and PRP resistors in the driver section. It's currently burning in with a set of SED EL34's, NOS LAN Philips 6922's and a JJ GZ34 rectifier. I managed to blow my vintage HH Scott branded 5AR4 when rebuilding. That REALLY bums me out. It was quite nice.

I'm controlling it with an Adcom GTP-400. Until I get through these Morgan Jones books, I'm sticking with the Adcom. I envision myself building a decent tube pre after I get through Professor Jones' Valve 101.

The speakers I'm using are Paradigm Esprit v.3's. The are floorstanders with a 6" driver and tweeter. They seemed adequate with my 1970's SS Marantz gear, but I have the impression that they may be severely limiting my newly revived amp.

Any opinions on this? As you can see, I'm of the "poor boy" audio variety, so please go easy with the recommendations.

Thanks, good valvophiles!
