the above observations apply directly to TRIODE PUSH-PULL amplifiers.
Frankly, I was not even thinking/talking about SET amps in my above
post. It's primarily about plate resistance/damping factor variables,
and the differences in intrinsic harmonic structures between pentode
and triode amps which cause each type to sound/behave differently
when inverse feedback is employed.Transformers and SET's are another discussion.
