Yep, IMHO only pentode amps need/benefit

sonically from inverse feedback --and it is a MUST for them, IMHO.
I've never heard a triode or Ultralinear amp which I did not like
better WITHOUT inverse feedback --at least with all of the loud-
speakers I have heard with them.

Simple THD and IMD numbers which do not take into account the
architecture/composition of the particular harmonics involved,
seem to mean very little in terms of correlating with the perceived
sonics. It's gonna take a long time for the field to unlearn
50 years of dogma regarding the feedback/fidelity issue. A whole
new measurement protocal is clearly required --and it's going to
be a bit involved/complex.

I think awareness of this is growing.
