I can't make out the Aa too clearly , looks like an island dark patch . The Ba on the left hand side does look a bit dodgy , is the gettering the same colour the other side ? Morgan Jones is the 'chef' but I can't find the section in the book at present . Pretty sure he recommends a low temperature for 12 hours . I've used this method to bring back a DO26 (globe 300B like thing by Mullard) that sparked like a firework on the tester . You can mop up residual gas with baking but you can't fix a bad vacuum unfortunatelycheers
