So, I gather you do believe in bypassing a battery used for grid bias, I take it. Have you listened to your unit with no bypass vs with bypass, and if so, what was your impression of the difference? What value bypass cap are you using? I'm more that willing to bypass the battery to ground, if I can be convinced it will make an audible improvement in sound quality. (If I remember correctly, Morgan Jones does not bypass in at least one schematic I found in his book; I'll have to re-check to be certain.)
