DHTs do something very special, not sure how to describe it, it just sounds more real. I went away from it after trying it a while back, but hearing Andy's stuff has inspired me to go back to it and do the job properly this time.Be aware that filament supplies can make or break an amp. We've been doing some experimentation in this area and the differences are huge. Some kind of CCS heating is definitely the way to go.
