Hi,

The reason for "controlled warm up" was also to predict the start up sequence in the curcuit.
Something that should be useful for a DC amp as well. Just think about a 6SN7GTB connected to a 2A3 where the 6SN7 takes a while to develop the grid bias for the 2A3, while the 2A3 is ready to take of right from the start. It ought to be the other way around frankly :-)
