Re: buying new and used cassette decks

My choice would be a Nak 600 or 600II. Almost always less than $100 on ebay. Down-side, at least half will need some type of rehab, nothing major just cleaning and alignment, some work good but will eventually need some work. Up-side, after being fixed, THEY ARE BULLET PROOF AND AS GOOD AS NEW! The inmates here know I have a pension for these decks and have rehabed many of them and have 4 that have gotten daily use for over 4 years with no problems with the original belts. As stated in other posts, yes new, from pro-music dealers or distributors. My suggestion, try www.fullcompass.com., in a suburb of Milwaukee, WI., great discounts and great service. Good luck.
