If you could get Keith to let you use his focused gap record head in your duplicators and a new EQ characteristic that home users could replicate with maybe a test tape and play preamp with adjustable tweaks then I would applaud such a development. How are you gona get the record companies to release vaulted copyrighted masters to you? I'm sure some liscence agreement could be worked out. We don't want any 2nd generation mixdown masters! You need to adopt an apporach like Mobile Fidelity Gold discs and go back to the original master tape and with a minimum of limiting, compression or EQ. The best! Ray Hughes
