Can anyone recommend a repair outfit in the Chicago / DuPage county area in IL for a vintage Sony KA3ES cassette deck? That REALLY knows the machines, uses OEM parts (if still available). Both pinch rollers need replacement and probably an electronics test against factory specs would be in order too. Am looking for an audio gear surgeon, that treats your piece with TLC, not "some guy" that also works on lawn movers, does a "maybe it's fixed" hack job and you get the unit back with newly added scratches and dents.
