Re: BIC T-4MI forgot to mention that this deck is in brand new out of the box condition, with all manuals and brochures. Not a scratch on the deck and really moderate use, so I know the heads are perfect. I have always been proud of my tapes.
In addition to the 3- heads, the deck is completely microprocessor controlled, it's listed features are:
Two speeds
Two Motors, full logic solenoid control
Electronic digital readout
45 db LED bar graph display
400Hz/10KHz record calibration oscillator
Bias Trim
Mic/Line Mixing
Pitch control
Broadband Electronics
High-speed tape handling
LED/THD indicators
MPX filter
Headphone and Separate output controls
Record Ready/Safe/Mute Switch
Three position Bias & Equalization
Four complete Dolby NR circuits for simultaneous enconde/decode
Dolby FM copy
Guaranteed frequency respone from 20 to 21,000 Hz & 20 to 23,000Hz using high bias tape.It just needs belt replacement..........sad. I am reduced to using a Devon DRM-740 to play my tapes. The BIC is built like a tank, in comparison.
