have you heard the Sony TC K-870ES cassette deck of which was built in the late 80’s or early 90’s? I just bought this last week and it’s in excellent condition. For the time being, it has replaced the Tandberg and the Naks duties in my listening room. I haven’t done any comparison between the other decks yet however, so far the Sony is very competent and I think it could compete in terms of sound quality especially in the Dolby C recorded tapes. BTW, I saw this being auctioned off at e-bay where this image was taken from hopefully the auctioneer doesn’t mine and so far, $255 was the winning bid, of course I didn’t pay that much for mine. Any thoughts on this.
