Other than beating the daylights out of my amps in mobile apps, I have little experience with the lower power (less than 10 Kilowatt) amps commonly used for home audio, and the input pickup issues typical of a home system.
The closest I come to this is when I snake 100 feet of ac linecord with the unbalanced feeds to a rmx 1450 on stage...so far, my scheme is impervious to external hvac, tesla coil, and van de graf generator noise..(knock on wood). Course, soundstage there is not an issue..
