I appreciate the link. I was wondering if I would ever get to see the results of Bruno's work. His conclusions with respect to the cause of cable sonic differences ( which he redally admits to ) are a bit tuff for me to follow. Is there a lay verion of what he's describing?
I'm talking in particular of this line.... "There may not be a difference between what goes into a cable and what comes out, but this does not mean that the presence of the cable can't modify the signal. "
I take it what Bruno means by this statement is that a particular cable MAY NOT cause any change to a signal passing through it, but that does not not mean EVERY cable will pass a signal unaltered. He then attributes the reasons for this to microphonics.
So why didn't the microphonics show up in his test equipment.
So much to learn...so little time!!!!
Thanksslope
