That there is a chasm between the subjective side of audio and the objective side is obvious. Maybe we can close the gap on this forum - though the day we do high-end audio will become a commodity and your margins will - well let's not think about that.

As long as there are subjective beings involved, that day will never come. People's subjective tastes and preferences are all over the road. There will never be any singular system that will be "The One" for everyone any more than there will ever be a singular flavor of ice cream that will be "The One" for everyone.

Unless of course we all lose our individuality and all become part of some single-minded Borg-like collective. And I hope I never see such a day as that come.
