Of course it does, Dan! Those are the original reasons, as well as distortion reduction and power supply rejection, for using negative feedback. The problem is that it has some drawbacks. That is why Otala, Walt Jung and I worked for years to find out the nature of these drawbacks. TIM (SID), IIM, and PIM do a pretty good job in showing the problems with using negative feedback.
