Re: Your lack of a sense of humor seems normal to me..:-)

When I want humor, I go over the 'Central' where my former partner, Bob Crump, used to hang out. Many of my friends and associates still go there.
I thought that this area: 'Propeller Head Plaza' was a technical info site, a place that we could debate different audio philosophies, both 'objective' and 'subjective' with candor, and without an artificial 'politeness' that sometimes inhibits active discussion.
What I have mostly found is a lack of basic understanding of audio quality, its history, or experience with real hi fi audio, among people who work in a different technical field than hi fi audio design, and insist on applying the guidelines that they normally use, to audio, without knowing or caring what really good audio quality is. You know:"This is good enough to get by, or why should I not shop for the cheapest price for a component?"
At least, JJ, in his earlier years on this general website, used to give some technical info from his point of view. It is rare to find anyone of his caliber here, these days.
