Now that is starting to make sense to me. The 0.2us jitter is one heckuva lot of jitter. 10 nanoseconds can easily lose you 3db or more of dynamic range! Sounds a bit like they are FMing the signal and then adding the delay. It's an interesting combination but I have to ask, is this relevant to musical program material?
