Actually, I'm not feeling any lack of identity, just recalling anomalies in trying to account logically for the concept of nothing. There is a quite funny little article on "Nothing" by one P. L. Heath in Paul Edwards, ed., The Encyclopedia of Philosophy, available in many public and university libraries. One sentence starts out, "Nobody seems to know how to deal with it (he would, of course) . . ."Then there's the story the late CBC broadcaster, Clyde Gilmour, once told about a drunk at a party. He was supposed to have been heard softly singing "Nobody loves me, I wonder who, I wonder who it can be . . ."
