Hi.Like it or not, our aural perception via our ears, get the final say
nomatter what the instruments measure.Our senses are not infallible, as nothing is perfect. But our hearing sense is not as helpless as can't differentiate bad sound from good sound.
Science is a vehicle to bring us understanding of the nature, including how we sense our sound. NOT setting a man-made standard to valid or invalidate our aural conception.
Science with its tool - engineering, advances as days go by, & but is not even remotely close to interpret how our aural perception works.
Until the day comes which frankly who knows when, please don't conclude our hearing sense is "fragile" because our science & our engineering knowhow todate cannot prove it.
Science & engineering is to find out how we arrive such aural perception, not vise vera.
