First let me say that I don't know jack about pro monitors. However, I know jack about audiophile/mastering monitors. For an accurate two way monitor, you can't get much better than a Dunlavy SC-1 or SC-1AV. Many recording studios (classical mostly) use this line of speakers for monitoring. Check it out at www.dunlavyaudio.com. I have a pair of the SC-IIIs and they play exactly what your source sounds like.Peace,
