Sounds interesting. In fact, I often find gear described as having a high build quality to be 'overbuilt' and much heavier than it need be which, IMO, detracts from the sound (I'm a "Tuner", ala MGD). Anyway, if it sounds good, it's good.

In any case, I was wondering what you used the SC-2 for (tracking or mastering)? I'm in the market for a multiband mastering compressor. I'd like to avoid buying 3 or 4 stereo compressors, each with sidechain eq with all those connections. Too complex, not to mention expensive. But, if that's going to get the best sound, so it will be.

The only all-in-one multiband compressor I've found is the Tube Tech SMC2B. Do you know of any others?
