I have to disagree with the above post. I have tried the red range compressors, and they don't sound or work the same or sound as good as the original Focusrite ISA units. Manley gear has a tremendous reputation, well deserved, and although you can do lots of great things with waves software, its not going to give the same effect as using the Manley unit. Try and get a loan unit and find out for yourself.Roland
