To get both like vintage and pro sound might be possible to get from Klipsch Heritage-series .. ? Have you ever heard active studio monitors like Genelec, Quested, KRK, Tannoy AMS, M&K pro or similar ...you can get with those.. great dynamics, clean undistorted, wide / extended frequense range and much more ... only problem is that those are high price stuff. Only reason why I have A7's is , because I have been 20 years doing Cinemas and Dubbing stages and it's large part of the history.... and they look COOL ! BagEnd speakers sounds good ... and they have subwoofers that goes below 20Hz ... but some people don't like those ... because of they use really large mount of prosessing in signal ... it's more matter of ..does it go really low or does it sound good .. but I have heard that some people even likes BOSE speakers... I just don't know who...??Big Jack
