Perhaps the most frequently that I've seen cited by MP-1 owners are the Mullards - Jim McShane has a nice lot at present, and he will cull them for noise and section balance, but they won't last forever. I'll suggest folks looking to start on NOS to start there as they're relatively cheap and they really show off the gear.
'60's Siemens haven't been falling out of trees lately - I took a flier on a few and they proved quiet, clear, and toneful, so a bought a few more instead of funding my retirement - heh. That's a thing I've found increasingly with tubes, if you pass them by, they are not likely to still be there when you come back. I promised myself I'd stop, so we'll see.
