Are good for a lot of gain in differential amplifiers. We actually had a little too much in the older 12 tube amplifiers. I don't know what the JWWC mod is, but I am guessing a plate load tube is in it- if so that looses a lot of gain and the 12AT7s may not do a lot for it.
