I have the MP-3 and have changed all of the 12at7 tubes in the phono section with the recommended Sino Chinese tubes. I was still getting an irratating hum in one channel. Instead of trying different 12at7's, I checked the 6sn7 chrome dome I was using in v-2 of the noisy channel and found that to be the problem. Replaced it with a brown base chinese and the problem was solved. I too am using a lower output (.45mv) Lyra Argo(i) cartridge. Before the Argo I was using the Benz M-2 at the higher output .8mv and never really noticed the hum. Could you possibly have some noisy 6sn7's?
BTW, the Argo was brutely bright when new but now after 15 hrs, it is really comming into its own.
Wish you good luck!
