Lew,Sorry for giving you the impression I was attacking you for recommending the book. It may well be the most accessible teaching tool for neophyte tube audio fans, and indeed old college texts can be a challenge to find. However, I've learned in dealing with a variety of engineers in my work career that one clear instance of poor thinking serves as a good warning regarding the rest of that person's work. Any time Rozenblit closes an argument with "that's a fact," reach for the salt shaker.
