After 20+ years making and recording music, it is only in the last few I've gotten serious about listening. I am the happy owner of AS MA 1.5 amps and a MP-3. While I don't intend to modify these fine products, I feel I really don't know as much as I should about how they work to be a responsible owner. Some of you have been kind enough to answer specific questions, though I have at times not even fully understood answers. Can anyone suggest some ENTRY LEVEL books on things I should know as a tube owner (testing, matching, troubleshooting, etc.). I haven't had the guts to ask in a book store for "tubes for dummies", as I sure it doesn't exist. What is out there for books?
Thanks very much.
