Quad 989 and Soundlab A3 Caparisons

I use the MA1 monoâ€™s with Quad 989â€™s. I like them a lot (very natural sounding). I just wish that they had a little bit more â€œget up and goâ€. Has anyone heard the Soundlab A3â€™s and the 989,s together. How do they compare.
