Thanks for the comments and advice.I agree with matching components. I have had my Reference 3a's for several years and love them (they are well suited to low out put SET amps).
The impedance is stable, but 4 ohms. The impedance matching component sounds interesting.
I have to plead ignorance when it comes to OTLs. I find the theory fascinating. I would appreciate any technical references that you con provide. Think I will be with OTLs for a long time to come.
