You might consider bi-amping if your speaker allows, with Atma-Sphere for the treble and a suitably reliable solid state amp for the bass. This is how I drive my Magnepan MG-20s: MA-1s for the treble and Bryston for the bass panels. The crossover for each channel is a single pair of Teflon capacitors in front of the MA-1, with resistive padding to reduce the MA-1 gain to match the Bryston in balanced mode. This is a significant improvement over the external high pass Maggie crossover in itself, and is probably worth the cost of the Bryston without considering the Atma-Sphere performance advantage.
