AS amps..... how MUCH heat are we talking? please chime in

Not ever having had the pleasure of having AS amps in my living room, I want to see if you guys could help quantify the real-world effects of the heat these things throw off.

I know most people have the M-60's, and that these throw plenty of heat. Mark and many others have MA-1's (I think), and then there are the MA-2 owners.

If you have the M-60's, the MA-1's, or the MA-2's IN the same room where you are listening to the music, and do not have them behind the back wall or something (like George's setup...very good idea!), how much of a temperature adjustment are you guys making when you sit down for long listening sessions?

I imagine that if your house or apt is on one thermostat, the difference in temps between the listening room (hot) and the rest of the abode must get fairly significant...?

Understand that I am not trying to criticize AS amps in any way. I have very high regard for these amps. I'm simply trying to get a feel for how much of a climate control issue is involved with these amps, if one is to spend several hours, say 3-4 hours, in the same room with them while they operate.

Please chime in with your experiences and your methods of dealing with this issue (if it is an issue for you) if you have M-60's, and also I woudl like to hear from MA-1 and MA-2 owners.
