As a post script to this subject: After this happened I ordered about some Svetlana's and only about 1 out of five were within 20% for plate matching, some of them were off as much as 50% !! Now this is taking the voltage off the plate resistors, most of them were running way to hot ! This doesnt say much for the quality of the tube ! However, most of them test fine on my tripplet testor but in circuit thats another story.
