I don't think there's any correlation between past arc-overs and your most recent arc-over. Russian 6AS7Gs are more reliable than domestics, but they still fail in exactly the same manner. Past domestics self-destructing has no bearing on future occurrences. If your grid stop resistors and plate resistors are in good shape, then you're golden.
